For NASCAR racing fans, a trip to the RCR campus in Welcome is a highlight of their trip to Davidson County!  There you will find the Richard Childress Racing Museum & Gift Shop, along with RCR’s Race Shops!

The RCR Museum covers over 47,000 square feet!  In it you’ll find the original No. 3 race shop, built in 1986, and the original RCR Museum which was built in 1991.  The museum displays over 50 racing vehicles – including over 25 of the No. 3 GM Goodwrench Chevrolets driven by Dale Earnhardt, 16 video screens that showcase key victories in RCR history, and displays of racing memorabilia, photographs, banners and trophies. You will also see the Daytona 500 winning cars driven by Dale Earnhardt and Kevin Harvick.

The Museum & Gift Shop are open Tuesday – Friday 10 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 10 am to 3 pm (There is an admission charge). *Last ticket is sold approx. 1 hour prior to closing, to allow visitors the utmost experience.

The Race Shop is open Monday – Friday 9 am to 5 pm and has a Fan Walk/Viewing Area for you to enjoy!
