Located 15 minutes south of Lexington on NC Hwy. 8, High Rock is one of the best fishing holes in the Southeast. The B.A.S.S. Masters Classic Bass Tournaments in 1994,1995 and 1998 were held there. The shallow lake is best known for largemouth bass, but fishermen also reel in bream, catfish, crappie and striped bass.
